PHNOM PENH: At the beginning of January 2023, Cambodia received a total of nearly 460,000 visitors, with six capitals and provinces being the primary tourist destinations.

According to a report released by the Ministry of Tourism on Tuesday, 10 January 2023, from 2-8 January, Cambodia received a total of 459,409 tourists, including 415,793 national visitors and 43,616 international guests.

According to the report, the main tourist destinations were Sihanoukville, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Kampot, Battambang and Kampong Cham provinces.

The Minister of Tourism, Thong Khon, has stated that Cambodia expects to receive more than three million international tourists in 2023.
